The new Falken 453s are a great option.

Michellin Pilot Super Sports. I've run Bridgestone S-04, Hankook Ventus V12, Michellin Pilot Sport PS2 and out of all of them my favorite tire for DD application is the Super Sports. Hankook is probably the best bang for the buck but not as good of a tire overall. I would say for a car of this class spend the extra money and get the Super Sports.

+1 on MSS, I have them on the IS and on my Porsche Cayman. They grip like crazy, wear well and are a quiet tire.

Anyone have experience with Yokohama's Advan Sport V105?

IS F is included as a target vehicle and shows it to be a better tire then Pilot Super Sport... http://media.unitedfuture-yoko.com.s...-brouchure.pdf

Looks like a nice tire. I always used Yoko's on my old 944 and never had an issue with them. For the price savings over the Michellin I think it'd be worth it.

I would go with the Michelin's, super grip and lasted about 30k miles. Those were by far the best and also most expensive. Since I log over 20k miles a year I started going cheaper on tires. I got Hankooks and they were ok. Now I have Nitto's and they suck for grip but should last a long time....

I had the DW's with the 285s in the rear and now have the RE11's stock sizing, and these things out grip the Conti's. Great freakn tire!

My friend has a set of Yoko's and they're a loud tire. They grip well but to me the noise factor makes the Super Sports worth the extra money. I bought the F because it was quiet like a Lexus should be... under 3700 rpms!

For my personal car, I am running the Bridgestone Potenzas.... I couldnt be happier. They perform well and are very quiet.

I know the Michelin Pilot SS are also a great performer.

the RE11's are my first choice. they have great reviews from people with much more power and they love them. I was thinking about going 275 rears but is there any reason you stayed with the stock 255's? for weight?

I have the Motivo's. I got them because of the long 60k mile lasting capability. I have had them for about 5 months and logged 10k miles on them already and the tread still lokks brand new. Again, I drive insane amounts of miles not only for work but the wife and I take many trips. As much as I love my Raptor, its is not the best choice in gas from long trips. So I decided to sacrifice grip for longevity.

So I have no idea about any other tires from Nitto. Other models may be awesome, I am only speaking for the Motivo's.

I'm not a drift machine nor a drag strip queen. So yeah keeping stock sizing helps with weight. Like I stated they out preform the DW's(even when I had em upsized). Very predictable tire and great on turns/take offs
