Hey everyone I'm looking for new brake rotors. Please post me some links of some aftermarkets brake rotors. I'm looking to get some that are better than the stock ones, but not too expensive.

The cheaper/cost effective alternative is to go with Raybestos Rotors. Many of the F guys have found these comparable to the OEM stock rotors as far as quality and fitment.

Brembo makes these for Raybestos. They're every bit as good as the Lexus branded units. Lexus rotor prices have dropped like a rock recently. Pretty surprising.

I just purchased both front rotors from Sewell and they are $110 less than 1.5 years ago.

I was looking at the Raybestos rotors, but the price difference is only $40-50, so went with genuine OEM in the end.

2 piece Figs is the way to go. Not only, they are better but they really last longer! Believe me they worth the extra money you pay for them. I already went through many sets of OEM rotors and I know what I'm talking about.

FIGS FTW! I'm using Porterfield R4S pads with mine.

I've switched to using Centric Parts for my rotors…no problems here! They're about $100 each.

Thanks for posting up guys. I actually have 6 hard track days on the first set I built up and they are still wearing extremely well. The alloy iron formula used in the ring is huge step above the OEM and you will never see the weird radial grove lines the Brembo's develop in our rotors either. This is with a pretty aggressive XP20 Carbotech track pad, not the best shot but you can see they are holding up well for what I put them through. The pad deposits center in the middle of the ring so its a little tricky to see the details on the rotor face. I should post up an update on the blog. Big pic so you can zoom in.

Hrm, I just picked up the stocptech centric parts from Rock auto @ 83 each you can't really go wrong. If they warp I don't mind junking them for that price damn. How is it there is probably about 2x the metal in these vs my 87 supra rotors but yet they are nearly the same price lol,

How much are those 2 piece parts? Off topic a little but I see your caliper paint has seen better days as well Figs.. My clear coat has mostly removed it's self form both sides and it's looking pretty tired, How do you guys recommend to refinish? Do you just have them powder coated? I've never seen a high temp clear coat paint, I used to use the enmanal paint for my other car's calipers but I don't want to do that to the F.

Yeah the coating is pretty done at this point. I was working on a new caliper with upgraded pistons and seals so I am not worrying about it. The proper method would be disassemble and powdercoat or cerakote. Then rebuild with new seals.
