Wow, that's shocking! Even "heatsoak" alone shouldn't cause that much power loss. Perhaps the ecu was still "learning" with the black box installed and severely running rich? No idea but that's just sad!

I've said it many times before, but there is no better intake for the IS-F than the stock setup. Not a bad thing because it's one less mod we end up spending money on.

I'm not trying to be negative here but there are threads with dynos and track times proving that the best intake for the isf is the stock one. Pipes like the Joe z or hps are Ok too. I understand if it's being done for looks or sound at the expense of hp. If you're trying to gain some hp aftermarket Intakes actually make you lose some. Even the flap mod lowers trap speed at the track.

Actually it's not. All intakes, stock or third party intakes (except the SRT) neck down in OD where the sensor is mounted. The sensor somehow monitors the air volume flowing thru the tube, if the tube is not the stock diameter, you will get a cell. The SRT circumvents the CEL with their plug in device.

With that being said, I would never own anything made by SRT. There's just to much bad press out there from ISF owners concerning both their intake and exhaust.

That is the reason I run the Takeda. I was one of the first adopters, it's design intrigued me, since it keeps the stock secondary flap and is pretty much enclosed. The Takeda is on all my dynos posted on this site. Over four years later and I still love it.

Can you post a larger graph? Also hate to say, but your results are not valid. The graphs show "uncorrected" which means variations from the previous dyno to today's dyno aren't being adjusted for and even at that "corrected" isn't perfect either. Dyno testing should be used for tuning purposes only and anything else should be taken with a grain of salt. Same day, same car, consistent testing procedures and you'll then get valid results.

Congrats! Can you post your previous (350 WHP) dyno results? I would like to see the difference in AFR. I expect is is running leaner now..

Yes, I can see it, but the numbers don't mean anything to me uncorrected and not overlaid with your previous dyno results. Even so because it's on different days the results are not conclusive, but if you are happy with it then that's all that counts. I'm just saying we've been down this path many many times regarding intakes on this car.

I guess it says that bc they did it with fan on and off so there is the variation of it I guess but I'm happy I feel the difference after the intake and the power even my wife that don't know about cars told me yesterday that she feel more power when I hit the pedal and the car push her back to the seat
