I may seriously consider upgrading to that instead of the upcoming ATS-V or CTS-V if they keep the weight down. If it is below 3500 lbs and can surpass 500 hp at the crank with I/H/E, and decently improve on the ISF's handling...then I'm sold (as long as it doesn't pass the 85k mark).


...but then again, if I went for a F/I Caddy, I could build and tune as I see fit...but then I lose the exclusivity of only seeing another of my car on the road every month or so.

I don't know about 3500 pounds I think probably closer to 3600 pounds and as far as hitting 500 at the crank that shouldn't be a problem if its 460 at tHe crank with I/H/E you should see the low five hundreds anywhere Between 500 and 510.

The LFA in US trim weighs nearly 3500 lbs. I seriously doubt this car will be a featherweight as much as I'd like it to be. I'm a lot more interested in what they've done to the engine and if it will be possible to "update" the 2UR-GSE. Knowing Toyota, it will be impossible, but one can always hope.

I wonder if they will go for broke and make a 5.7 liter 3UR-GSE would be pretty cool considering they are making TRD supercharger kits for the trucks that will make 500 hp....

Man that would be something to write home about, or even adding a charger to this F... TRD charger to give 500 HP would be fantastic..
