Default think im leaving guys...

Im parting out the F this coming week for a switch to something quite different. Currently working a deal out on a tastefully optioned 07 Cayman S with 14k on it. I want something with lower milage, more track friendly and dont really want much of a car payment while doing some remodeling of the new house. ISF has been one of the best cars ive ever owned and maybe il come back if i need the rear seats again but for now im gonna change it up.

Super fun car! Different experience entirely from the F but not better/worse - just different. Enjoy it in good health!

One of the coolest rides here. That license plate was always a dead giveaway when the pics popped up. Enjoy the Cayman, my good friend!

I just sold my 08 Cayman S, but I can honestly say it was the best handling car I've ever driven. Enjoy it and good luck!

If I didn't have a need for rear seats, I probably would have a Cayman S right now. Love that car. I even considered keeping my old TSX and getting one as a second car, but in the end getting one car that would do it all was more what I wanted (didn't want to have a car just sitting there in the garage hardly being driven) so I got the ISF.

As most here know, I'm always a supporter of people getting P cars when they leave the ISF, and the Cayman S is definitely on that list. If you keep it NA it'll be fun, but boosting it will give it handling AND power. As you know, the mid engine layout is superior for the track. I'm sorry to see you go man, but happy you're moving on to another great car.

Hate to see you go, but I have a feeling you'll be back like most others.

Great choice! I came so close to pulling the trigger on a '10 Cayman S before I bought my F. I thought I was the only one cross-shopping the F and the Cayman! I ultimately went with the F because the Cayman would've been my daily, and that just wasn't practical. I plan on keeping the F, but also adding the Cayman in the next couple of years - it truly is the best handling and most fun car I've ever driven. Congrats!

I've thought about this too Darbs, I've been torn for so long, I want something manual and quick. But every time I get into the F I change my mind. Keep us updated on how you like it!

Make sure that cayman has a true limited slip diff....the older ones had the same bs that the 08 and 09 is fs did....they use brakes to control wheelslip
