Did u use a fishing line to cut the original 3m tape

Yes I used a fishing line, made the job much easier.

My Robson spoiler did have holes but not aligned correctly and no tabs included.

Could u post a pic of the bottom of your spoiler? Is it Robson design?

what did you use to clean the old 3M tape? was it a big job removing the boot liner ?

Yes mine looked similar but I had a total of 4 holes at the bottom of mine and none of them had the clips attached to them.

I used the 3M Rubbing wheel thing. It works great, just stick it onto your drill and let it spin, it'll take out all the old 3M tape without damaging the surface --->
