Just to clarify a little. That dyno was done with our system with the optional high-flow cats installed. Gains of 23+whp can be seen with the cat-less system.

Base line car was headers, intake and stock exhaust. After was headers, intake and dual mode exhaust with high-flow cats.

Did the pricing change or is there just an error on the website (http://shopfigs.com/) When I look at the price there it comes out to $4,555 ($1450 + $2715).

Also one other question if my goal is to run both headers and exhaust but I want to run one set of cat's any thoughts on if I should order the cats with the headers or the exhaust?

thanks!

^^^^Cats are an option for the PPE exhaust. I believe it's the only third party exhaust with this option. The headers exit right where the stock manifolds and stock primary cats exit, so yes, cats should be ordered with the exhaust.

Yes, that looks to be an error in the store. I will tell Figs about it.

What Lou said on the cats. You should order them with the exhaust system.

pricing has been updated on the site (darn interns )
Also keep in mind we still have the test set from our vehicle that we used for an install video production and dyno that we can offer at an additional discount.

Two more videos. One Acceleration. Note, not a lot of difference in sound with exhaust open or closed because most of the sound is coming from the Takeda Intake and the Open stock intake flap.

The second is freeway driving, open and closed twice. In reality the sound difference is more pronounced than we hear here.

^^Sounds really good I thought the Takeda intake kept the 2 stage intake system from factory?? I thought I watched a video of an install of a Takeda intake and it utilized the stock box no?

^^^^It does, but on acceleration it's wide open and the intake sound overtakes the exhaust sound in the cabin.

Can you have this system with the headers and keep 4 cats?

I have installed a couple Borla systems with our headers and our Dual Mode system is quieter than the Borla with the valves closed and louder with the valves open.
Can you also comment on the sound volume of the regular exhaust vs the Borla catback?

So in single mode system, the exhaust is always "as loud as possible" ?

Not sure what you mean by single mode.

There are two configurations

1. Button installed next to traction control. This allows you to choose if you want the valves open (loud) or closed (quite/wife mode).

2. You can opt for the control module (you have to ask figs for this directly, it's not listed on the website.) This control module allows the above functionality, except if you go WOT in closed mode it also opens the valves.

It's a Dual Mode system. The dash mounted control has three positions.

1. Always closed - Quiet

2. Always Open - Loud and with Cabin drone at 2K RPM. Also Max exhaust flow.

3. Automatic - Usually closed (so Quiet) - But, when you floor it, the lack of vacuum opens up the valves and they open for max flow.
