help!! i had my cold air intake installed locally at a shop and now my check engine light keeps coming on I've gone twice to the local Toyota dealership (because we don't have Lexus dealership locally) and had it cleared and the mass flow air sensor cleaned and they reset the adaptive learning system in ecu... and I've drove about 20-30 miles and its back on again! along with the VSC light (which i know comes on automatically with check engine light)
what do i do to keep this from happening over and over?!
please help!!

i had it installed at a local shop... i have no idea! i took it back to the dealership and having it "fixed" hopefully again!

personally just for an intake I would have done it myself, it's probably the easiest DIY anyone can do.

At least that way you know what's been done.

Is the Filter oiled? if so possible the excess oil is causing problems with your MAF sensor.

Put your stock intake back on! Unless you prefer the loss of power.
