I had the same problem with my unit so the dealer replaced it under extended warranty.

yea, i took the risk of getting it cheaper.. i felt that the prices were basically a competition between these dealers... well guess not... the screen is a poor quality and it doesnt work. I will order the one from the link you provided today. Thanks!

For those that are out of warranty, print out every post from ISF's whose navs have failed. There are a ton of people including myself who got it replaced even out of warranty as a goodwill repair. IMO this should be a TSB, the navs are faulty from the factory. I was also lucky enough to get a free oil chg (I needed one) because they took over 2 months to honor my claim. Worst they could say is no, but keep escalating it to Corporate and you should get a replacement.

Damn that's good sh+t^^^^ but I doubt I could wait 2 months. Especially since I need the touch to control my vaistech unit.

The problem is that later down the road if the screen craps out again and they don't honor it again what do you do. well now we have options to get it fix instead of replacing the whole unit through the dealer. hopefully corporate does something before the replacement craps out.
