There is no "upgraded brakes". 2010 comes with one two really important thing to me, now that I have upgraded from the 08; much better navigation and Bluetooth music streaming and iPod iPhone controlling from the steering wheel button. Plus the darker plastic trims and navigation surrounding is also much more pleasing on the eyes.

I'm biased as I just picked up my 2010 over the weekend, but the big things for me were the Torsen LSD and the Gen 6 Nav w/ Bluetooth streaming. The other thing for me (and it's my personal preference) was that the 2010 kept the dual gauge layout, I didn't care for the single tach on the 2011+ models.

Ok thanks for replies, I thought it had brembo brakes with drilled rotors by pictures I had seen. I just don't want to kick myself for not upgrading like I always do.

Coming from a 2008 IS350 to a 2008IS F I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I did drive a 2013 for a short test drive but was out of my price range. For the average owner that just wants to have an IS F I am totally happy. I didn't notice much difference in suspension but test drive in 2013 was quick. I love my 2008 and couldn't be happier with it.

I've had my 08 for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier (that's not true, if the "sport" button was on the steering wheel I would definitely be happier). I prefer the 08-09 BBSs to the following years. Also, the suspension for the later models wasn't a big selling point for me as I knew I would lower it immediately. The LSD would have been nice but my F is my daily and never sees track time. It's all personal preference.

If it won't see any track time, I doubt you'll notice the lack of an LSD. Personally I don't think a 3800lb vehicle has any business being on track, unless you enjoy chewing through thousands of dollars worth of brakes and tires every weekend.

^lsd (giken) is the way to it completely changed the driving experience if you like to drift, I couldn't be happier with my 08, I like the 08 a lot more than the later, just do some upgrades and it will be just as good. Oh remove about 200 lbs from it, look around on weight loss threads and such or pm me on my build
