Default Service Manuals & Wiring Diagrams

Good afternoon -
I am not only a new member of this forum, but I am also new to Lexus with a 2014 IS350 F Sport.
I have been looking at the Toyota TIS web site but cannot determine if they have the service manuals and wiring diagrams for my new car yet. Helms publications, which will have the official factory printed versions does not yet have them. It looks like I can subscribe to the Toyota TIS for a couple of days and download the manuyals I am looking for. Does anyone have information regarding this?

I know its your first post....but you understand that a IS350 F-Sport and IS F are completely different cars right?

Brakes, Motor, Transmission, Suspension, lighting are not the same

Come on - I said I'm new to Lexus, not new to the world of automobiles. My question regards the availability of materials from Toyota TIS. If you have any insight about this I would appreciate your comments.

I've had an annual subscription for more than 6 years. If you plan to do your own service, it's cheap. Printed manuals are out of date the day they're published. TIS has everything for all Scion/Toyota/Lexus vehicles way back into the 80's including owner's manuals, service bulletins, recalls, and some of the most amazing general information you'll find on why and how your car was built the way it is. No, you will not be able to easily download the content, they've made it challenging to do anything but print paper copies with some exceptions on older platforms which are straight PDFs.

I chose this route because when I asked for manuals for my IS350 I was quoted over $1k for printed documents. $400 a year is cheaper than any manufacturer, I have three Toyota products in my garage, and no one but me works on my cars, so it's pretty easy to find value in my decision.

Also, there is a maintenance forum on Club Lexus and it would be the appropriate place to ask this question. The IS-F forum is not an F-Sport forum, and suggesting it might be will not be well received by F owners.

I wonder about the transmission - is it the same 8 speed or a different one? If they are identical, this could make transmission replacements more affordable.

Probably not the same...different engine, different torque, etc.

Thanks Lobuxracer. That is good information for me. BTW, I put this on the "F" forum because I expected to find a lot more people who do their own maintenance.
