How much to pay for an F with over 100k miles?

The best deal I can find right now is that silver private party listing for $36K w/49K miles. Looks SUPER clean, comes with all service paperwork, and it's still under warranty. And it would be the same as paying about $33.5 + taxes & fees at a dealer. Personally I'd rather pay $3-4K more and get 1/2 the mileage, but that's just me. And you would also need to be wiling to travel and deal with buying from a private party on that one.

I don't know where you're getting a "market value" of $25K. The cheapest 09 ISF listed anywhere in the country right now is the one the OP mentioned w/105K miles which looks like it's listed at $29,999, and the next cheapest one after that is $33K w/83K miles. I bet you could get them down to maybe $28.5 on that one with 105K miles.

Sounds like your definition of market value is wholesale value, but that's not what the OP was asking. He's asking what a good price would be for him to pay as a retail customer, not as a dealer trying to buy it for resale. For retail customers market value is based on what the cars typically sell for on the retail market, and if the cheapest one in the entire country is $30k then the retail market value is clearly not $25k.

...OK, 3 1/2 years later - same question: what is a fair price for a 2008 IS-F with almost 110,000 miles. Northeast car... looks great in photos with a clean 8-year carfax history. I hope to go take a look next weekend. This IS-F averaged 13,500 miles each year of its 8-year history:
- In service: July 28, 2008
- 1st owner - 14,000 miles/ 14 months
- 2nd owner - 47,000 miles/ 33 months
- 3rd owner - 47,000 miles/ 48 months (4 years)

Send me VIN, I work for *** Automotive, we own Manheim, Autotrader, KBB, and several other large automotive companies, i can get you intel on how much that dealer paid for it, and if there was a condition report made by the auction, i can get the info on that as well.

2011USBISF provided excellent information and advice. I'll pass on this one. My initial inquire remains, what is a fair price for a 2008 IS-F with almost 110,000 miles?? I feel confident buying a high mileage IS-F, as long as it was maintained well by and preferably by a CL enthusiast!

As for what one of these is worth with over 100K, it highly depends on how its been cared for, and if its been "messed" with in my opinion................If its a completely stock 2008 with 100K, well maintained, all the right pieces in place,"all there", straight panels,1-2 owners, locally owned and serviced, no paint work, accidents, etc.id say low-mid 20's like 22-24K would be what I would pay, and I'm in the car biz. But again that varies greatly depending on the condition. The problem is going to be finding one of those.... The powertrain on these car are pretty bulletproof .............. I don't know what the exact numbers are but its something like 5,000-6000 made from 2008-2014 for the USA.
