This is Just my opinion, but the workmanship is really not that great, the welds are crude looking and the bends appear to be not done on a mandrel bender. It also appears that you have retained that restrictive crush at the "Y" in your axle back system. You have, however, lined up everything nicely at the rear, and I do like the burnt look. It sounds pretty good too.
From my experiences the stock mufflers are not that restrictive. Have you gone on the dyno?
Hate to bring back an old thread but, I'm thinking about punching out the "fake" quad tip rear exhaust diffusers and putting in real Quad Tips. Has anyone else fabricated quad tips to go on a custom straight piped mufflerless exhaust? Can it be done?
Thanks,
CK

Check with RR Racing. They have the bazooka and magna flow muffler axle back options. It currently bolts up to the Borla. There was a member who custom bolted the bazooka to the Joe Z. I'm sure you can accomplish something similar.

That's actually where I got the idea from. Will send a PM to them.

You don't have to punch them out... The Quad diffusers are held in with 4 bolts each..

I did exactly that (minus the punching)... had these tips welded onto the straight pipes
