Well, a little late in posting this but, I got the RC-F a little over a month ago. Although I loved my IS-F and it was a great daily driver, I like the RC-F even more. Going from a 4-door to a 2-door has been a little bit of an adjustment but, it hasn’t been bad. I do have a family of three (wife and an 11-year old) and we seem to take the RC F when we go out more than we took the IS-F. There are just a lot of little things that are more modern, more convenient, and more techy or just downright cool. Plus I just think the car drives better and feels better than the IS-F. It’s like you don’t know what you’re missing until you try something else. From the 3 LED headlights, to the configurable dash/gauges, to the pic of the RC F at start-up, to the amplified sound in the cabin, to the quicker acceleration, to the Torque Vectoring Differential with dash display, to the Lexus Enform with remote start and guest driver parameters, to… Of course I’ve got plans for this car to make it “mine” and will probably start a build thread in the RC-F section. It seems like a lot of the things I want or already have on order have a long lead time. It’s hard to be patient but, I don’t really have a choice. Here are some pics of her in her stock glory. I really do think this car (regardless of color) looks much better in person than in photos.

You really can't compare the two. The S04s are a Max Performance Summer Tire, the AD08Rs are an Extreme Performance Summer Tire with a much lower wear rating. Both are rated high in their respective classes.

BIG congrats on picking up a new RC-F. Agree completely that the car looks better in person than in pics, but I have always liked it in pics as well. I have no doubt that, once you work your usual magic, it will be the baddest RC-F on this board. I'm with you on the long lead times.....hate it!

I think that is the best color to show off the lines of the RC-F Wes. Can't wait to see how the transformation goes.
