Default Buying a 2008 Lexus ISF this weekend.

Okay Heres my story, I am buying a 2008 Lexus ISF from rochester NY flying in this Saturday I already put a deposit on the car I just need more input from people. The car is starfire pearl white 2008 lexus ISF 43k miles its being sold by dorschel Lexus in Rochester Ny. I ran the carfax it showed it had minor damage in the front not a big concern because the price is good and the pictures show that the car is in great condition. I also contacted the sales manager had him look over for any imperfections and he said nothing but some rock chips. He stated the rims are all curb rash free and that the tires have 95% tread left. Do you guys think this a good deal or should I stay away from this car?I am paying cash for the car so I will not have a car payment, not to mention I also live at home with my parents so I will have some freed up cash to modify the car.

Are you looking to see if we think the price is good or if we think it's a good use of your money?

Are you ready for $1200 a year for tires? How about anywhere from $300 to $1200 for brakes depending on what you decide to run? Lots of other thoughts can go into whether this makes sense for you personally or not.

The likelihood of seeing something in a picture from a dealership on the internet is about zero. You need to search for the common problems, then do a close up inspection on the car in person. We'd just be guessing at best.

Are you planning on living with the 'rents forever? Buying this car is not a short term commitment unless you're planning to sell when you get out on your own.

Minor front damage could mean a few things and pictures can be deceiving. But if the price is right and you can check it when you arrive to make sure everything checks out, there's nothing that I could think of that won't let you drive home with the F this weekend.

I'd ask for an extended warranty as well as anything that might sweeten the pot in your favor. Best of luck and definitely post pics when you take the keys!

buy a warranty. then no worries. most is-f problems aren't going to be cheap and can't tell from dealer pics.
mark levinson subwoofer-$1200
