Me too man. Still no drone with cats and resonator removed. The axle back does an amazing job.

Shame this isn't a true dual and costs a ton. I'd love to have just the rear section fitted to a Joe-Z midpipe on gutted headers...aftermarket headers just sound rubbish.

we have to pay a premium cat removal tax due to it being illegal here in australia.. so your looking at something like $600USD just to have the cats replaced with a straight pipe... hence why im looking at options - if it was just $100 etc it would be a no brainer!

did the low end noise increase with this change (normal driving)? I find the car to be silent at times which is annoying lol..

Wow that's pricey..

It's definitely an improvement over stock. I installed the mid pipe and axle back together so I don't know what it would sound like without seperate. It's still silent up until 1800rpms I'd say.

I was expecting a bit more sound from axle-back. I had M performance axle-back on my previous 330i and difference was much bigger.

Well, it looks like the way to go is to get this SSm axle-back anyway and then, if too quiet, figure sth out with mid-pipe.
SSM mid pipe actually deletes some of the cats or not?

It's since been discontinued but if you can find one it deletes both secondary cats.
