That looks great. I like the carbon on black, but painted on anything else IMO. Keeps the clean ISF clean.

I purchased the hood on EBay from a reputable seller. ($755 offer accepted with free shipping and no tax)

The hood does not come with trays when it rains. I live in SoCal, it really rained like 4 times in last twelve months.
Also, the hood is designed well, if you would drive in the rain, the hood aerodynamics would not let the water inside, plus hot air is definitely streaming out of the vents. Therefore, it would be only questinon of NOT parking outside in the rain. Not really an issue for me. I believe you could just to rape the mesh vents with some duck tape fore limited time if needed.

I had the hood painted and installed locally. I had them prep it really well. Color match ended up to be 100%.
NO NEED TO SPRAY THE FENDERS. I ended up paying $400 for everything. Not bad at all.
you know which seller you got it from. the fitment looks spot on.

Nothing. I had had a vented CF hood on a previous car, daily driver.

Got my hood on! For anyone that lives in SoCal, I can help you get the hood for cheaper than eBay.

Haha you are the one that encouraged me to get the hood. I was concerned about fitment and lifting at high speed. Glad I got it now. Photoshoot when my new Cwest lips is here at the end of the month

Looking great! That hood certainly is growing on me. Dissipating heat within the engine bay is great, and it looks pretty aggressive, too. Not bad overall.

Had this hood on my 350z. Here are a few pics. The reason I am posting pics of it is so you can see the AeroCatch plus flush locking hood pins I used to prevent the hood from flying open. The concern I had was not that the hood would unlatch itself, but that the latch would break off as I believe it was fiberglassed in place. Fitment was spot on, the ONLY issue I remember with it was that the the entire hood had to be prepped because it literally had waves/dimples almost as if it was hail damaged or something. I didn't sweat it because I was painting it always, but definitely more prep work if its being painted.

Wait, so why are you no longer concerned about the hood flying open at top speeds.
I'm seriously considering getting this hood but I daily drive my F and would worry about the same thing.

Also, you mentioned you have a way to get it cheaper than on ebay?
Let me know. Thanks!

I have a brand new set of the "CF" Aerocatch locking hood pins if you decide to get the hood and need the extra security lol.

I will add I had the Seibon CWII hood on my DD STI for 3 years without any issues or hood pins. Also had multiple EVO owner friends with Seibon hoods that often hit 140+ without issues.

I was concerning about the fitment toward the front of the hood, because any gap would means trouble at high speed. 3 different members stated that they have taken this to 140mph plus several times eased my concern. I bought mine and painted it without even test fitting it. Fitment came out pretty good thankfully. It's slightly low on the driver side of the hood. Not a big deal because you would have to look very closely to see it.

Local guys can save on shipping and pick up. I can check on the price for you shipped. What's your zip code?

AeroCatch is a great product. I had them on a previous car-
