Caliper Paint Thoughts

From the factory, the Lexus logo is a stencil and not a sticker. So I believe it would be impossible to remove the Lexus logo without repainting them.

Finally did my Calipers
I admit its a little understated; I didn't want to go with a super bright or neon color so I thought with obsidian it would be cool to black out the Lexus Logo and go with blue Brembo that ties in pretty well with the "F" logo. i think someone else on here did something similar. anyway i like the way it turned out.

^^^^^^^^^Yellow looks good for sure! Did you paint them on the car, or take the caliper off?

I had a local shop do it, and they did it on the car with custom decals for under $300. They've done several sets for me and I've had zero issues, good enough for their LB GTR, good enough for me . The couple people in my local car club who had theirs powder coated and taken off and put on with new rebuild kits both had squeaky brake issues after so I wanted to stay away from that.

Good to know as I will probably have a shop do this for me as well.

If their brakes were making noise, odds are it was likely due to bind from the reduced clearance in the channel the pads slide in. I would just take a disc and buzz off the added material and would be good to go. I will eventually have mine coated. Or at minimum blasted to remove the existing paint and start from scratch.
