It's ok, I spontaneously decided to pull the trigger on a car that has always been a car I loved, granted it's 2-door and a v10 motor but I told myself it's a car I definitely needed to try

I know when I sold my 08 a few years ago, it was absolutely mint, after the car went through a few owners, I oddly saw the car again back for more work to be done and it was pretty beat up sadly

Looking to get back into a White IS-F (2011+) so if anyone has leads on a clean modified one let me know. Just need something to hold me over till my new M3 arrives in July!

Glad to see the car is still a high demand car!
I had a feeling you would be back in a "F" lol.. I've followed your build thread over time with your white IS-F and can't compliment it enough... Looking forward to your next project..

thanks man, I actually have the new F80 M3 on order but in the meantime picked up an R8, see post above.

We will always be a Lexus family though, my wife wants to trade her CT for the new facelifted CT next year.

I paid $22k Canadian for my car with 160km (100miles) Series 2, single owner, no accidents. I got lucky with timing as he was just preparing to put the car away in storage for winter, and wanted it gone. I have to think it was at or slightly under the dealer wholesale price.

There certainly are deals to be had.. just have to be patient!

If you keep the miles low I don't see resale values going below ~$32k

How are the 08 models? They seem to be most popular on the market hopefully by the time i am in the position to get one it will be a newer model on the market.

Picked up my 2008 with 82k miles for $28k. Came with a K&N intake and what looks like a shotgun blast to the lower front bumper, lotsa paint chips on the bottom, and the ML sub was blown. Other than that it was in perfect and clean condition, 2 previous owners and a clean record.

Overpaid for my 08 I guess. Just got it a month ago, smokey grey with 33k miles. MINT condition other than 2 tiny rock chips on hood. Gave $36k but it was from a Toyota dealer in town. I'm happy with it though. Feels like a new car.

i don't think you overpaid, with that much mileage, that's actually a deal.

I paid $40k for my 2009 w 17k miles (1 owner) from a Ford dealership in GA back in May so that would be somewhat in alignment with yours. I always like LOW mileage 1 owner cars so to me its worth the extra $$.

Seems to be a pretty good deal actually. The ones I see for very low 30's have more than double your mileage
