The wife doesn't like the standard throttle response, so she always hits sport mode right away. If she's driving around town the tank average goes to crap even if she's just going 3 miles to Starbucks. She curbed a wheel and I told her she's paying for it - she said no problem (BTW, we don't do the joint account thing, so she really is paying for it out of her own pocket.)

She wants a medium SUV, but won't have me give up the F (or the Supra) to get it. I'm waiting for a Q5 with TDI to be available in the US market.

Actually we've been together for 13 years and married 9. She never bugs me about what I buy, and I never bug her about what she buys. The only requirement is your bills need to be paid before you're spending personal money on personal stuff. Works for us, but not everyone can do this.

She would not like the car to be louder in any way. It makes enough noise in stock trim, and after having very loud motorcycles for many years, I'm fine with stock noise levels too.

bwahaha. I'll have to tell that story to S5. And when we getting together for AIK? I'm sure zapa is itching to also.

I am so ready to go. Let the trash talking being now. Tiger Woods (vbb) you are going down! I know I have the power to weight ratio on my side.

But to be on topic my mom hates driving my car. She says it is too loud.

Blitz_714 is going to chime in and say "make sure you let it warm up to at least 2 bars before you use sport mode"

You're a brave man. I would be certain that she understand there are almost 420 horses pulling the beast and not to kick it in the _ss.
