Question Factory Intake mod

I had my ISS Forged exhaust installed yesterday by Lexus dealer and when I picked it up they told me they also blocked off (or reveresed) the secondary intake opening valve so that the secondary intake is opened earlier or all the time. Can someone explain what exactly they did or post a picture as I would like to compare it to how it was originally and if there is much difference.
Can't really tell as exhaust is a lot louder than standard. I was going to reverse it back to see how different it was and see which I preferred. I searched but couldn't find anything
Thanks in advance

Yes I would return it to stock. I am very surprised that the techs would do that without you asking.

This all looks normal to me, I think they may have reversed the blue valve, anyone know which way its supposed to go?

Can anyone help with which way the blue valve is supposed to go.
I tried it the other way around and all seemed fine but had a slight shake at idle after 5 minutes of driving

I had mine opened for a couple months but didn't like the way it drove so I put it back to stock. I think it runs and feels a lot better stock then the intake mod way.

If you take that side cover off.. You can see if the Flap has been comprimised...

You will also be able to see if it is or isn't operating correctly...

Open when engine is OFF

Closed when engine is turned ON.

Re-Opens when RPMs pass 3,600...

Also, the easiest way to disable the Flaps operation is to unplug that black connector..
