I just saw on Luxury4play that R1 Motorsports just released an exhaust for the IS-F. Sounds nice too. Here's some info and video clips on it.

Price and where to buy? Just curious on the gains too if they provided any dyno graphs during R&D, it would help to sell their product.

duh! some more than others, my HKS axle back (still looking for the perfect midpipe solution) drones less than OEM; actually I would say that it doesn't drone at all.

Looks and sounds pretty good. The video has the royal muffler ad print in it. I thought they did a custom/prototype exhaust for the F a long time ago. Also, if the vid is of the system that is shown you will note at the end the mufflers are different than the ones in the pics of the car that are in the first post. With that being the case I think it might be a good bet that this "final" exhaust is would sound different than the one in the vid.

R1 may have started making custom page exhausts a while ago but they just posted their respective exhaust on luxury4play forum today using that video and those pics as reference.. Im not sure what their deal is but im just passing the info along. If anyone's interested in it then contact them.

I researched them when looking for an exhaust. I believe at the time, their price was around $2k. For that price, I would just get a Joe z or iss. I don't know the price now though.

Thats my car in the pics. I just got that installed the other day. The one is the video is the RACE version as I would believe its loud and proud. But what I got is the SPORT version. For me the sport is perfect!!! its very hard to describe the joy of driving i have now with the custom exhaust that R1 did, I feel the performance gain and hear it...and omg do i hear it. You think its bad *** with stock, wait till you put the custom on and WOW your is-f turns into a beast!!! the drone is a bit, but you can still have conversations in it. Its a matter of getting use to it but you will love the ROAR of the exhaust on. I am very pleased with there work.

as for drone, i think all custom exhausts have them.
