Default Pop/clunking on full lock when parking???

Guys just a quick question.

When moving the car when parking etc. Slow and using full lock to lock I get some funny noises and popping through the steering wheel? Is this a common thing with the isf?

I does not feel or sound like a broken bushing as its equal on both left and right hand lock?

Any ideas??

Thanks guys.

Your problem sounds like the one I posted about a week or so ago. When I back out I get a pop every now and then... I thought it may be rubbing but the forum decided that Lexus wouldnt release a vehicle from the factory that rubbed. Sorry I'm no help, but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that is experiencing this

My 2009 does it too at very slow speeds, like when parking.

Normal when parking at full lock.

Liquid filled bushings at front LCA moving toe in-out of tires when in full lock causing the tires to slide/grab to the pavement causing the popping sound.

Good to know this normal operation.

I definitely hear this once in a while too, usually when backing out my driveway, but its not consistent. If I try to do it again after the initial bump, its usually wont make the sound.

I bought my isf with different wheels and snow tires. When the summer rolled around i installed the summer wheels and the popping and clunking started. Totally normal.
