I wouldnt say its a steal just yet... I got mine in yesterday and it wasnt smoothed out at all before it was painted so it doesnt look good at all. For every bump in the spoiler, theres shadows that make the spoiler look lumpy with the Mercury Metallic paint match. Im alittle disappointed, but you always get what you pay for guys... and I paid for a cheap part thats gonna cost me more to fix

You could even raise the side panels to make it flush with the spoiler for well under the price you are paying. However the Wald piece still looks great and you're one of a few people around who actually have the real thing. Congrats!
Guys, maybe I should have been a little more clear. Originally when I ordered the Wald CF version I intended to install it showing the CF and not paint it. Due to the imperfections I'm thinking it needs to now be painted.

Understood. It's unfortunate that you have to spend more money to fix it but perhaps the suggestion of painting it and leaving some of the CF showing would be a reasonable, if not more awesome/unique approach than painting the entire thing or going bare and showing the defects.

You should paint it and blend the tip to the carbon fiber, that would look good!
