VegasISF I'm having the same problems plus a load of others. I have a nasty rattle coming from column housing seatbelt on passenger side. I'm making a list and then taking BACK in! Plus I have a lot of air noise coming from top of passenger area on front windshield. Any takers?

WD40 is the worst thing you can use. The solvent in it attacks the rubber over time. This is what the pros use and it is very hard to beat. I use it on the door seals about every 6 months and it's amazing what it does to stop little annoying noises from the rubber seals. Same with the sunroof.

Sorry, I am a 250 owner but troll through the ISF threads in order to be up to date with all knowledge for when wifey gives up and lets me buy this beauty.
Since the chassis and most components on the interior are the same I figured I would post my biggest rattle and what I did to fix it.
It was from center dash vents above the Nav/Radio. There was an incessant rattle that was really bad during winters. Over the weekend I decided I would remove the vent cluster and have a peek. My efforts were foiled for it would not come out. Infact, I could not pull either of the four clips down and keep them in the down/open position. They would retract back. I tried wedging little screwdrivers into each clip in the hopes of keeping them in the open position but still could not get the cluster out. I gave up after about 45 mins and scratching one of the vents.
Later that day I drove the car and the rattle had gotten far worse. It was clear, my tampering with these clips not only made it worse but, also helped isolate the issue down to the clips themselves. I bought some 1/4 inch foam (art store) for $1.99 and cut out 1/4" by 1" long pieces. I pulled each clip down with one screwdriver and inserted the foam in between the clip and the dash. I let the clip retract and once it had, pushed it in further to help it get comfy with the foam.
This morning was the test since it was close to 0 degrees Celcius overnight and my morning drive is absolutely frustrating and annoying with this rattle. Gentlemen, the rattle has completely disappeared.
I can listen to Talk Radio again!!!!!! And the other rattle coming from my glove compartment. I think the same foam job around the edges should do the trick!

Honestly, this whole rattling thing really pissed me off tonight on the way back home. I was in a bad mood, I didn't even feel like listening to the radio.
For $67,000 the interior rattles are a massive disappointment to me, and I'm starting to have some thoughts about selling the car after 3 months of ownership. Maybe it just not what I had in mind, and I sure as hell don't want to keep making these car payments on a car that rattles. (the car as 2200 miles)
My .002 cents.

I have a 2008 that just rolled over to 33,000KM (20,505 MILES). And I seem to have rattling from the passenger side door. But the most annoying rattle is when the second intake opens, the whole damn dash or somewhere behind there seems to rattle and come loose.
My 2004 is300 has little to no rattling, only the sunroof shade and the rear cup-holder when open and going over rough road.
For a 50k car it's a nuisance and a real disappointment in quality and craftsmanship. That actually was my biggest gripe with the ISF, is that it had a cheap feel to the interior with the amount of plastic used and the textures across the dash.
