Default intake rubber sleeves?

So i got a joez intake for the f. my question is will those silicon sleeves hold up? i noticed on my is350 the rubber sleeves gets black rings around them,. i am assuming they are melting. will any harm come to my brand new engine? is it any diffrent from the rubber on my stock intake ?

Porsche guys seem to replaced them in 10-12 years or so?

I think it will be fine, the material is very sturdy. Plus it is secured to an air intake, not something that will generate heat like the headers.

Many members of this forum use the JoeZ intake. It's been available for close to five years now. I know of no failures either with the intake or engine failures due to the JoeZ intake. Use it in good health.
