My recent trip to japan
I recently went to osaka japan to visit. of course i was excited to see Japan again but i was also excited cause i was going to visit Novel. my first day there...i looked out my window facing a highway and i see an ISF drive by..it was a sign lol. So Novel was about a 2 hour drive and a friend of mine took me to visit Taku at Novel. I'm pretty decent speaking japanese so it wasnt too bad talking with Taku plus our mutual friend helped out. we talked for about 6 hours ranging from his exhaust system to the sard ecu writer and his future plans. i learned alot and Taku san is one of the nicest guys ive met. He told me that sard worked with toyota to create the ecu writer and that it will work for US ecus. it took him 3 days to tune his car..he also said he can make his headers minus the cats...so gains should be similar to ppe and sikky. of course with youtube its very hard to hear the true sound of an exhaust system but hearing it in person and driving in his F was amazing to say the least. the sound coming from the headers was insane..im seriously thinking about getting them ,without cats of course. also with the sard ecu writer...speed limiter can be deleted as well as cels. his F never had a check engine light from his exhaust system so he doesnt use an ecu conditioner. Taku san is planning to come the states near the end of this month or february. ill keep u guys posted. he really would like to meet US F owners and show of his products . Will he bring the ecu writer? not sure yet but i will ask him. Stay tuned 
Taku san is also thinking about twin turboing his F. he plans on making room in the engine bay to accomplish this. he wont be going the route of the rear mounted turbos like all the other turbo Fs. hes almost done testing a lightweight eng pulley he made.Im really impressed on what hes done so far...
...I also went to a local lexus dealer.they didnt have any Fs in stock but gave me some catalogs... custom F floor mats.....$1200.. crazy !!! I was surprised to see more Fs in japan during my 2 week stay then ive seen in one year living in San Diego.

Good information David, u already know at least 3 of us F's going to jump on it instantly whenever He'll comes and tuned the F . Hopefully i can get at least 10 F's to get tuned . By the way did you get Alpinestar ISF racing gloves from Japan for me ?

Worthwhile trip indeed! Seeing your fiance and checking out some goodies for the F- glad to hear you had a great time! We've been planning a trip to Japan as well, and I would love to see the unique things they have for our cars. Definitely keep us US owners informed of any Japan representatives wanting to come over here and check out our Fs.
