For those that were looking for and bought a rear 2010+ rear differential for your 2008, how long did it take you to find one? How often were you looking on www.car-parts.com? Did it seem to take awhile? Are there any other websites that you went on to find a rear diff?
The junkyard near San Diego has a rear diff but for a 2008...so I have to keep searching.

I watched the first two people get them, then had to wait 4 months checking almost every day. Then finally got one for $850 out of a 2011 in northern CA with 11k totaled, hadnt been in the yard a day he said when I called. Blitz got one after me somewhere and i think he was the last one to get one... its been months 5 months sense then.

Our diffs ratio is 2.937:1 from 2008 to 2013
With Torsen added 10'+
Only swap I would consider would be the OEM IS-F LSD Torsen unit..

Great write up and general feedback is similar to my experience. I say just save up and get the OSG unit. Its going to be twice as much or perhaps 3x after install but it behaves locked all the time which eliminates the need for a loss of traction event to engage. I have periodically looked for people and these cars are just not getting wrecked. If you have an 08 09 its such a pronounced upgrade. Make your mods count.
