what is a good tire brand for 285 25 20...vredestein ultrac sessanta are junk
ve had nothing but bad luck with these vredestein ultrac sessanta tires,I had one front and one rear tire just fall apart and delaminate at the edge to the steel belts at only about 6 months old 8k miles .the others wore out very fast as well.
Im looking for a tire for a 10.5 inch rear wheel,285 25 or maybe 30 series 20 inch wheel
245 30 20 fronts. something that isnt noisy or too expensive and has really good tread wear.
On a lexus im wondering if I would be better going with a 295 25 or 285 30 in the rear and 255 30 or 245 35 for the front..the prev tires had the sidewall kinda layed back, not really stretched but im looking for comfort and read wear,I could care less about having band aid stretched tires to achieve a look!

Fix the alignment. It's not the tire's fault.

this is a front tire, there is not that bad of tire wear at all on the front tires. Its the rear that is wearing out on the inside edge....there is no way the tire should be coming aprt like this..one of the rears wore all the way down to belts and didnt do that. the tire looks cheaply made where the rubber molds together also,if you look close you can see the a thin line of rubber standing up,almost like a retread looks like.

I've run vredestein ultrac sessanta on my ISF for 22,000 miles and still have at least another 8K left on them. Previously I ran the Michelin PS2's for 18K miles. I have a stock suspension (ride height) and an alignment similar to lobuxracer's suggested. These have been the best tires I have every owned for the price/performance ratio. I have NO unusual wear or tire construction problems and will buy them again. I'm running 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.
It seems pretty obvious your problem is an alignment issue, suspension issue or sizing issue.
Lobuxracer knows what he is talking about.

It is my understanding that camber does not affect inner tire wear until you are more than -3 degrees. Changes in toe are much more drastic on tire wear.

The rest of us who are concerned about tire life and mechanical grip are running mild camber and focused on toe issues to solve the usual wear problems.
Keep in mind, the average street tire likes at least 0.5 degrees of camber which is why you typically see street alignments with -0.5 degrees of camber on even something as vanilla as a Camry.
IME, if you get the toe right, you'll get the most out of your tires unless you have worn bushings, ball joints, or tie rod ends. Or, as in the F's case, a LCA bushing so soft it deflects heavily under braking - which causes extreme toe out...
