I hope that those of you who send your ECU and $2500 to Japan get the gains you are really hoping for. That's pretty steep for non guaranteed results. I mean, if it comes back and gives you only a slight gain in hp, or if for some reason the reflashed maps self-adjust or get erased, then that's $2500 gone with no real recourse. It takes a guinea pig to try it first though, so gl to amgone for being the pioneer.

Looks like im leaking towards the Pro Efi solution if it ever comes out. Not really a fan of having my tuner located out of the county much less out of the country.
Haha True. Too bad that thing still feels like a 1980s mustang.

Well, they have improved alot. This tuning thing is sort of what is holding me up on deciding my future car plans. I want something that I can modify and not be limited. I guess we will have to see how this tune works out when we get some feedback.

As much as I would like to keep my ISF forever...If there isn't a tuning solution out by the time the first Cadillac ATS-V hits the showroom floor, I will probably opt to switch. My guess is they will use the next gen GM small block and that will have unlimited modding/tuning potential and it will be mated to a strong and lightweight chassis.

Isn't the tune supposed to be made specifically for your mods? So they got that great HP bump because they're using their header/exhaust combo, what about all the other combinations that we have in the US, ranging from cat-delete to ISS/JoeZ exhaust, PPE/Sikky headers, fully stock cars, etc. Results won't be that great... if they manage to rewrite our ECU.
I guess their base tune is the mail-in tune, the extra $1k is for dyno tuning the car, which is exactly what we want.
Also, what if there is a Lexus ECU update and your car gets updated? Will Novel retune the ECU free of charge?
