Unichip Piggyback / ISF Twin Turbo Questions...
So I am attempting to put a turbo on my IS250. So far I've collected a self-contained turbo from Aerocharger (owner is one of my clients so I simply traded fitness training for equipment) and I've been in contact with Unichip about a piggyback ECU for the IS. According to the guy I spoke to at Unichip, they worked with the owner of an IS-F who added 2 turbos to his car. I am trying like crazy to track him down so I can get his impressions of the Unichip computer and what they had to offer. This is the last piece of the puzzle. If anyone can put me in touch with this ISF owner I would be much appreciative!

maybe this link will help you
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...rbo-in-tx.html
Also there was an twin turbo ISF on ebay before - maybe the EBAY ID # will help you. The listing was under:
"230818603144 is no longer available.
50 items found similar to 'Lexus IS ISF Bob Norwood Twin Turbo Lexus ISF 600 HP"
I also know there is a guy in So Cal near Carlsbad (San Diego/Orange County) with a blue IS-F who is running a twin turbo. I was talking to him at a gas station one day. He's a younger guy in his mid 20's. I want to say his name is Eric but I don't know if that's right. Hope some of this info helps.

Thanks for the info guys! Unichip swears up and down that their system is perfect for my desired application, but it is their job to sell products and I have to be absolutely sure. I'm not going to rip my car apart, install their system and then have my car be rendered inoperable until I pull everything out. A lot of the guys on the forum think I'm nuts for wanting to do this because they see the cost of doing this and how much of a pain it is. I do a ton of driving for my job and that has me wanting to keep my IS250 fuel economy but add power.

I get what you guys are saying... FD3SISF, come spend a winter in Kansas City and tell me you like driving a torque-y real-wheel drive car. I've owned 2 E46 M3s and it was hell. I'm an independent personal fitness trainer and I drive around between fitness studios and my clients homes and offices. RWD = bad idea in my line of work. As such, I like the fuel economy that the IS250 gives me over the AWD IS350. Now if they made an AWD ISF I'd say screw the fuel economy and spring for it.
Zapa, I'm not paying for the turbo itself because one of my clients owns Aerocharger (www.aerocharger.com). They make a completely self contained turbo. It's insane! They own the world's fastest snowmobile (yes, it's a Kansas City company haha) and the world's fastest twin-turbo G8 GT.
Streetx, turbo is amazing. As opposed to supercharging, there is no parasitic drag and I get to maintain my fuel economy. When you're driving close to 30K per year, that means a lot.
I don't have to worry about labor or the cost of the turbo. The ECU enhancements and any other parts needed I'm on the hook for, but that's not so bad. Plus my car will be rare.
