From what I know the stock cats already flow well and you won't be gaining much by swapping them for something else. Depending on which high flow cats you want we really have no idea if it'll throw a cel. A 100 cell count I'd say probably will, but that's just a guess.

Different car, but i have HFC's on my IS250 and no primary cats (PPE headers), but i believe on an ISx50 that HFC's alone dont trip a CEL, but since i have no primary cats, i have O2 simulators from PPE that "trick" the system.

Good luck

I have read the same coming from a mechanic in one of the shops that did the header installs that you will not improve over the stock as they are already high flow cats.

Yeah I have a few. I personally would never add high flow cats again. You'll lose some nice sound and it's not fun worrying about them going bad as I've seen a few others here find out the hard way.

Comparison of my Header/Borla setup to Borla only:

Are you talking about the cats that are part of the manifolds? If so, how do you plan to replace them? IIRC primary and secondary cats are already HFCs.
