a lot of companies are going turbo for the fuel efficiency, but I'm not sure Toyota is going that route. Turbo has potentials to make a car more unreliable.
Sorta like this BMW M3 VS IS F thing...5.0 V8...6800rpm redline, 416hp...or 4.0 V8, 8400 redline (or somewhere around there), 414hp....the BMW has to work so much harder to make that power.

A Toyota-BMW collaboration as the article suggests at the end... hmm, not too sure about that. Even if Toyota would be up for it, there's no way BMW would let another car manufacturer share anything with the iconic M3. That's silly to even suggest.

I think those wheels are the best ones yet. I really dig em.
As for the turbo route...I have no issues with it. Everyone complains a lot that the mod options for the ISF are basically h/i/e and not much more that's worth the bother. With a turbo that opens up a whole host of opportunities to eek out more power as well as fuel economy. Plus we know the MKIV Supra TT was bulletproof so the F would be definitely be hearty.
And besides, the current intake bypass is basically behaving like a turbo spooling up anyway haha.

Would much rather they kept the NA V8, tweak it to say 440-450hp, put in cylinder deactivation and stick in a hybrid KERS system to give it a performance and economy boost. Lose 100-200kg and that would be a true beast

Yep. There was an article on World Car Fans that I posted the link to in another one of the threads. Lexues, I guess, feels the need to match BMW's move. I was waiting for this type news before I make my final decision on what car I want, M3 or F.
I really do not want FI.... But I am very interested to see the next generation of M vs F battles!

I got the led bulbs for the day time running lights. The sewell led swap is too pricey and then you lose the afs. As long as my ride is clean and sparkly which it is. ( Matador red mica sparkles 10 times brighter in the sun then USB..sorry) then 9 out of 10 folks out there still think it is brand new.

that would be a marketing ploy, i had an '09 infiniti with nissans version and it was the same as any other paint, just another selling point which is why nissan dropped it from all their vehicles after 2010 i believe, only had it on 2009-2010 cars
