Default 09 IS-F - I/H/E - Dynapack Pull 444whp/411wtq

I noticed this on youtube any thoughts....

Quote...

"First of all, thanks to Church Automotive Testing for always having the best customer service when bringing cars in. This was just a baseline set of pulls to get an idea for the power this car was making after the mods. We were pretty surprised with the results. The owners previous car, a 350Z had every bolt-on along with a Vortech and struggled to make this kind of power on the stock block. The IS-F really is a restricted powerhouse.

Car is an 09 Lexus IS-F, 38k on the odometer.

Just installed:
SIKKY Headers
PTS True Dual Joe Z Series Exhaust
Joe Z Intake
AFE Filter

Car put down 444whp/411wtq on Church Automotive Testings Dynapack. Yes we know that Dynapacks read high, and fully admit it. But haters gonna hate on the fact that so much is gained from 4 hard parts with absolutely no tuning whatsoever.

Thanks go out to:

Yet another reason why dynomometers should be used as tools to tune a vehicle and measure the gains that mods add over a stock baseline vs. "wow" people with high numbers. Church's dyno has been known to provide some of the highest "internet bragging" numbers ever seen for years and years, and that goes for all different types of cars, not just the IS-F. 444/411 is very high with those mods and it is impossible to interpret anything from those numbers without a baseline.

Church's supporters are always quick to say anyone who doubts the numbers is "hating" too, which is silly. If your dyno reads 10-15% higher than everyone else's then it takes some of the credibility out of those people posting your numbers.

Even for a high-reading dyno that seems crazy to me given that it's here in So Cal where people have to run 91 octane.

Lol it looks like only a few peeps in this thread actually read the OP. These aren't the OP's dyno numbers.

Yep, 10% higher numbers. Again, if the dyno is used to measure gains and to assist with tuning, then who really cares what the ultimate number is? I'm guessing that the IS-F the OP posted up is making around 400whp on most other dynos... which is still pretty impressive. Not quite 444whp impressive, but a good number nonetheless. I'm sure that car flies on the track.

Exactly not my words at all, anyway those numbers seem a little bloated. I'm sure the car pulls hard I would like to see a track video.
