The dry one actually flows 5-15 less cfm's than oem paper filter(420cfm). As for the wet one I am not worried about over oiling as I've had oiled filters as long as I can remember. The filters come pre oiled so no need to worry and when time comes to clean em they sell an aerosol oil kit so you wont over oil it. Its really not hard to do

I had no idea the wet version was so efficient that flowed twice the OEM version. I had a bad experience with the wet K&N air filter, and it wasn't about being over oiled as I never did it. After using it for a while I could feel some power lose, switching back to OEM and cleaning the MAF sensors restored the power to normal.

The car they used to test initially had a Blue version of my intake..
(Don't ask how I know)
Honestly, I really have no issues with this... I welcome it...!!
I had researched producing my intake version in ALL Silicone as well.
But the set up fees were just outrageous... (for US production)
For HPS, (which manufactures their own silicone product line) this becomes much easier to make in house.
In the end the results achieved are ultimately the same..
It's Great to have more options for IS-F owners...

I am assuming all your JoeZ Products are MADE IN THE USA?
If so I applaud you, and this is just another reason I will purchase your product.
(Yes, I know the irony that I want something built in the USA, but am driving a Japanese Luxury Car)

Mr. JoeZ shining some light as always! I like the new product and the idea behind it (like iCode but cheaper LOL), but im a firm believer as to what JoeZ said "In the end the results achieved are ultimately the same.. " still interested in your turnout with the new intake though, keep us posted bro!
And if its true the aFe Dry drop in restricts more air, im gonna get me a Tom's drop-in to replace.

very interested... but... according to their prototype that they tested in their blog, it states the prototype was a 4-ply silicone... but the production one, they mentioned it was only a 3-ply silicone tube... i would think the 4-ply would perform better...
Hi Edward,
Please discard previous email. I double check with the tech and find
out we do use 4-ply on the IS F hose as the R&D tech update the
product in the final release.
We only use 3-ply on the 370Z/G37 hose.
We will update the website accordingly. We are sorry for the
inconvenience you encountered.
So it is 4-ply.
