number crunching itch got to me so I decided to compile ISF years/VIN from this thread, another ISF VIN thread + current listings on ebay and autotrader. Out of my spreadsheet here are the highest numbers I have for each of the model years that I was able to find.

Year - VIN
2008 - 4828, also confirmed final number for US 2008 according to flipside in another thread
2009 - 6560
2010 - 7943
2011 - 9601
2012 - 10859
2013 - 11256
2014 - 11516

With these numbers you can then do a simple calculation to find an approximate % of all ISFs produced in that model year:
41.92% are 2008
15.04% are 2009
12.01% are 2010
14.40% are 2011
10.92% are 2012
3.45% are 2013
2.26% are 2014

Surely there maybe a higher VIN for each model year but it may not even affect the percentages a whole lot. If you do find a higher VIN for the MY I listed, post it and I can update, but I doubt the distribution will change much.

perhaps but i was going off of this post:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/3766267-post31.html

The earliest 2009 I have is 5555. The gap between 08/09 I have is 700 cars, 09/10 about 400 units while the rest of the MY have gaps of 200 or less. So there is the potential for up to a +/- 6% swing for 08/09, while the other years may only change 1-3%.

went on cars.com and they had an ample supply of VINs, updated distribution is below with the lowest and highest VIN for each year. Numbers barely changed. A lot of the VIN gaps between years are now around 100 or less except for 08/09 which is about 170. So with the gaps narrowing like this the % will hardly change +/- 1% at most.

Year - VIN - %
08 - 194
08 - 4828 - 41.92%

09 - 5008
09 - 6717 - 16.40%

10 - 6819
10 - 7986 - 11.02%

11 - 8098
11 - 9691 - 14.81%

12 - 9785
12 - 10859 - 10.14%

13 - 10902
13 - 11290 - 3.74%

14 - 11394
14 - 11516 - 1.96%

My '08 is 4571. It was built July 26th, 2008 according to a VIN inquiry on TIS. So it's pretty certain they got at least 4600 out the door before they shut down at the end of July for the new model year's production.

If you want to know your vehicle's exact production date, PM me.

Just received an update from the dealership on my 2014 IS F order... the last digits of my VIN are: **11522**
She is due to arrive in Florida by June 23rd... so she should be here at home by the end of this month!

So, is this truly the "last" IS F built? Are there any higher VINs... this may be the last call... let us all know!!

Regards,
- Kirk

I think these are Lexus world-wide production numbers... not just USDM.

M3 e90, e92 and e93 total production run by model
e90 total production run - 9654
e93 total production run - 16214
e92 total production run - 41092

Total amount of M3's 66960

Just to give some prospective on difference between two production runs on both vehicles that means 55,444 more M3's were produced than ISF. This is one of major factor why the aftermarket is so much larger for the M3 than ISF it's numbers game. There are probably more modified M3's than there are IS-F.

Global Production Officially ended in the middle of May...

So you may very well one of the last ones to roll off the line..

Thanks for the research--it confirms how exclusive our cars are. I agree on the '08 numbers because mine was 4822 which was right at the end for that year. Traded it in Houston for my '11 which is 8509 and according to an email from Lexus in Oct 2012, there were 654 brought into the US that year. Of those, 140 were Starfire Pearl and only 31 of those had the white interior. So, white on white is not very common and it draws attention wherever I go.

Wonder if there is info out there for colors and options.
