And decided to try the little hatch back as a loaner. Wow what a change. I thought I was going to have to get out and push the car since it felt like it barely had any power. I know it gets 40+mpg, but I want my F back!

On the bright side your F will seem even faster when you get back in it

Didn't S4play sell his IS-F and get one of the new hybrid hatchbacks?

Of course he has a bunch of other fast cars and a bike to satisfy his need for speed. I think having both the hybrid and an IS-F would be a nice little combo.

It's way more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow.

Well the problem is that my commute is 80% freeway cruising and I absolutely love the solid feel of the F at speed. It simply devours miles with ease as if I am on a sunday cruise. The CT on the other hand felt like grandmma was pushing from behind with a beehive under the bonnet. Its not a bad car, but I am glad its not my daily. I think my old 91 mr2 was even more exciting.

Tell me about it...I just had a Corolla for a few days. Almost killed myself the first freeway exit because I forgot most cars don't handle like the F

I have both the CT and the F. Both cars have different purposes. Unfortunately, you can't expect the CT to behave like an IS-F.

I did the same thing last week. The CT is OK I guess, just not an F. I used to think I might get one some day, but not after I drove
it. The hybrid part really didn't bother me that much as I own an rx 450h. It was just the car as a whole.

I've been really debating on a CT opposite to my F. So what is it like going back and forth between the F and CT, being an owner of both. Do you have a good "repreive" feeling going back and forth between the two cars? Serious question....lol.

And for the rest of you, there is a fine line when sharing your thoughts and experiences about a hybrid, in this case, the CT. BUT don't you dare start mixing in words and unknowingly compare the CT to the ISF (e.g., how one is better than the other). Express your thoughts carefully....lol!

Isn't the CT essentially the same as a Prius? It is here in Australia except the CT costs a bit more and has a few nicer features, oh and looks better.
