It's funny because that track looks so familiar to me given the countless hours I spent over 10 years ago playing Gran Turismo 2 on the original Playstation when I was laid up recovering from knee surgery, lol.
The Viper near the beginning of the video was wickedly quick and the IS-F really got moving on the super long straightaway near the end. Yes, as everyone has said that driver was very skilled and smooth.

One of my best friends recently picked up a GT pkg G8. He loves it so far. He ordered a chip that is supposed to put the hp at 421, and then wants to get the supercharger that will put it at 540hp.
Not surprising considering the car comes with an LS1 engine.

While it's true there are other platforms out there capable of really significant mods to the powertrain, it's not the powertrain making fast laps, it's the driver. Sure if you gave him more power he could shorten the straights, but speed through the corners is all about the driver. This guy is REALLY impressive!
For those who have not driven at the track, more power doesn't make you faster. More skill using the power you have is far more valuable.

Am I the only one to notice that the car has a roll cage and seems to be fully stripped out? weight shouldn't be as big of a playing factor when compared with a stock F.
On the other hand most of the other cars on the track seemed to be stripped out also, so those little hatchbacks probably weight next to nothing lol
