Did that last year. Didn't cost me a dime. Took 55 pounds off the driver's side of the car.

No, after getting divorced in California. It took 4 years in Georgia to start recovering and lose the weight.

Glad to have Cali in the rear view. Miss the weather, but that's all...

And yeah, the battery is super light and super expensive compared to the conventional options.
From what you have seen, is there anything heavy enough and small enough to justify a transplant from the drivers side front to the open space left from a smaller battery on the passenger side front? ...or any other suggestions?

The only thing even close would be to replace the steering column with a non-telescoping unit from an IS250. Adding something back isn't really a good goal unless you have a minimum weight you have to meet. Everything else in terms of l/r balance is pretty difficult.

Bumping up this thread. To me, this is an awesome way to lighten up your ride but at a cost. Need more feedbacks from any member who has done this.

Couldn't one just get coil overs and corner ballance the car? This should resolve the difference of weight at the corners.

Wouldn't corner balancing with aftermarket suspensions help in this area to get the weight back to 50/50 in a sense?
