Talked to the dealer about it and asked why it wasnt mentioned... they didnt think it was a big deal :P ie water in the trunk? wouldnt foot the bill for replacement badges.. so i'm on the prowl for black badges :-) Wheres the best place to get them? price?

One thing i have noticed is the stereo... pretty weak. I didnt pay for the ML option new obviously.. but id be pissed if i spent 4k on that. The speakers in my 99 GS400 NAK sound better. I have them on an after market amp and sub - all stock speakers and they sound awesome - even after 13yrs (never replaced any of them). The ML's just arent impressive. I really didnt want to mess with tearing her apart for new speakers and amp.. but man.. i like loud music on the high way with the sunroof open and windows down... just not doing it for me. Also - how is that concidered a sub? weak sauce.. its a good thing the V8 sounds awesome :-) no complaints there hehe..

Ok. Cause I took mine off hoping for no holes and I got jacked.
Sewelll Lexus has great deals I have found. Make sure you register with them and the discount gets even better.
I thought the ML stereo sounded great! But it's all in the matter of opinion.

There are holes - just to confirm, removing the badges 'Lexus' and 'IS' will leave 3 holes - 2 behind the lexus and 1 behind the IS.

Not the end of the world though i guess. Does anyone know if the wheels can be refinished? A couple of the wheels have road rash that i'd like to at least see if I can get repaired.Thanks!

At lower volumes the ML isnt bad - i'll give it that much. I've had aftermarket stereos in every car I've owned.. including the wifes so I'm probably the minority of the group :-) I'll add a sub and see if thats enough of a boost for me.
