Default Sport vs Granny mode

We all know the 1/4 mile and 0 - 60 mph times, but what times should I expect when the F is floored in granny mode?

^^^ I'm thinking granny mode will add about 3 or 4 tenths of a second to your 0-60. With sport mode+M mode, you should get low 4's. With just plain default "granny" mode, mid 4's. Anyone else agree?

Also does having it in "granny mode" affect total power output.?

^^^ No, we have the same amount of power no matter what mode it's in. M mode+Sport mode makes it shift faster and won't cut as much power to the wheels when you start to spinout a little.

Why ask and just go out and try it?

The annoying thing about granny mode is if you go to overtake someone, the computer wakes up and goes to full time attack mode. Even after the overtaking is done it holds the gear thinking you still want more time attack shenanigans resulting in the driver looking like an idiot.

^^^ True, that's why granny mode is ON only while I warm up the car.

Uh WTH are you talking about? That's why you drive it in D. If you drive it in D, and you need to pass someone, floor it a bit, you pass them, then ease off, and the gears go back up pretty quickly.

If you were on D + SPORT, it holds the gear for maybe a second or so until it goes back to 8th...

Even in Granny mode it does it, depends on how much you back off the accelerator though to how quick it drops off. It's a learning box so if you drive it hard it starts performing more sporty.

Clarification, for day to day driving I'm usually in D Sport and it does hold the gear longer than you expect. I hate the lack of pedal response without sport on.

To me I consider granny mode to be D Sport, I guess just in D that's great granny mode.

If you're at WOT, no difference.

Disagree. If you hit WOT, there won't be any delays in Snow mode. Less than WOT, sure, but pedal mashed on the floor, no.

Thanks for your reply.

Would love to try it myself, but still don't own an F yet - hopefully very soon though.

What I'm curious of is while in snow mode, does the engine get to WOT when the accelerator is floored. I know snow mode slows down throttle response, but it wouldn't make much sense to be able to go WOT in SNOW mode.

Oh, I didn't know the OP was referring to Snow mode. I thought they meant granny mode = default start up mode, and sport mode = sport selected with M mode. In other words, I thought they were basically asking will the car always give the same 0-60 times no matter what you have selected.
