I did reset the battery, I've driven over a 1,000 miles on it with no problems... fluke maybe? I still need to check for exhaust leak though.

Well, I have the same setup and got the same CELs. I was due for maintence so I took my car to Lexus and they got the codes for me. They used some sort of device that cleared both codes and told me that if they come back up, then try unplugging the battery because they're both still in the pending stage. I'll keep you guys updated.

Great email from Paul himself.

Hi Sean,

It is showing both banks have low/slow response. The code descriptions are below.

bank 1 sensor 2 is the driver's side rear most sensor.

P0135 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor2)
P0159 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank2, Sensor2)

I would say it is unlikely that both sensors are going bad, but if they were twisted too much durring uninstallation and re-installation it can damage the wiring at the sensor.

I would suggest checking the ground and other wiring at the O2 conditioner in the engine computer box first.

If the light comes back on, let me know and we will proceed to the next test.

Best Regards,
Paul Prentis

PPE has great costumer service from what i have read. @sexylexus I think you will be fine. You have a brand new car. The o2 sensors are probably going to be very easy to take out since you have so few miles so i doubt you will have a problem with stripping them. Just take it to a shop you know does great work.

This time it went almost 3 months before a code... at 44k miles now on the car. Reset the EFI and ETCS fuse this morning...

This seems to happen every 8,000 miles or so for me, not enough to be concerned I suppose.

this is the hassle that is keeping me from getting headers - I just don't feel like dealing with this problem

It only takes 3 minutes to reset the ECU, then she's a street terror for 7500 miles lol.

Have you tried defoulers?
The point being to expose the sensors to less air.
