Anyone have any stability issues at triple digit speeds? I was very nervous because the car didn't to drive a straight line. I promptly took it back and they insist there are no issues with the alignment.
The tires are still brand new and need time time to wear in. i believe it is recommended to take it easy on them for the first 500 miles or so.

There is typically mold release compound that needs to get worked out in the first hundred or so miles of driving. I personally wouldn't be going triple digits on brand new tires.

I put 300 miles on them before I did. Took the F instead of the DD for a work trip. I'll give them a few more hundred then before I give judgement.

on a follow-up,

The recommended rim width for 285 is 10" and the recommended range (from Tirerack) is between 9.5-10.5". What happens to performance when you increase the width past the range?

Weaker sidewalls from tire bulge, control and response suffers

^^^^When I had stock '08 wheels, this was not an issue for me. IMO, the handling and response was quite a few steps above the OEM configuration. But, as I said, I know of one member here who didn't like the combo.

I notice when switching from car to car that vehicles with staggered wheel setups pull left and right slightly on the highway. From my understanding, the wider the tires the more pronounced this is.

I notice this with my F, I also have had this happen with previous RWD vehicles with staggered setups that I have owned and driven.

^^^^Only if the wheels are not aligned properly. I have a 255 - 295 setup and have no such drifting. I did have some drift however, prior to my last alignment.

Hmm, thanks for the info! I will have to get it checked out. I've never had the F aligned but my G37 was done but still pulled..
