Also happy with visual difference going from 255 to 285! (left side:255, right side:285)

Just got them installed. No clearance issues front or rear. Ride quality is much smoother/quieter compared to the old Pilot Super Sports (stock sizes). Soon as they are broken in I'm sure it'll be light years ahead traction-wise as my old tires felt like driving on ice.

There are a few others on here that cannot recommend putting 285 on the rear (08 wheels)... I am one of them and the OEM tires/sizes felt better in cornering. I want to believe that S-04 in oem sizes would have been better. I suspect the sidewalls are wanting to cave in on itself in cornering since the recommended rim width of 285 (per Bridgestone) is wider than what the 08 wheel offers.

^^Those sizes are most common on the stock rims. I run 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 S-O4's and like them a lot. They don't have the grip in the dry that my old RE-11's had but still a great tire.

^^^^As I state in the first post, I had a terrible experience with the Continental Extreme Contact DW. The tires were crappy as was Continental's customer support. I will never buy another Continental Tire again

Before anyone suggests I can roll a different sized tire up front on the 19x9.5 Wheel, it was already spoken about w Wheel Manufacturer, who clearly stated I absolutely must adhere to the suggested tire sizes from them. Hence why I'm now going to be a Bridgestone owner now! Glad to see it raised such positive reviews here, despite the time n date stamp on this thread. I sure hope you guys still like this tire and assume it's been modified since the time this was created.
Never thought one can fit a 305 on the rear!!

Yep, I'm still very pleased with them. I originally went with the S-04 on my stock wheels because the PSS didn't come in 285/30/19. Since I have gone to RCF wheels (255/35/19 and 295/30/19) both sizes are available in the PSS. But, because I was so happy with them on my stock wheels, I elected to stay with Bridgestone.

FWIW I run S-04s on my Supra in the OEM sizes. They're a very good tire and I have no complaints with them. I was one of the first to run S-02s on a Supra way back in the day, and that was a truly amazing tire. I have tracked my IS F on Bridgestone tires and felt very comfortable with their handling and predictability. I'd call them a very fair alternative to the Michelin tires available for these cars for sure.

Awesome!
Many thanks guys! Yeah I couldnt find much chatter in RCF section so jumped on this one when I saw Title. So reassuring to here you two say how pleased you are w them. They were my 3rd choice, but now I feel better hearing you even tracked these tires too!
Now if only I could sell the 20s linked in my Signature Line! Curious if you can fit these sizes on your cars - perhaps someone can confirm or deny that if you look at the specs in Sale Thread? (Will pay someone $100 to find me a buyer!) Thanks again! They're arriving Tue but new 19" wheels wont arrive until June 3rd!
