Default Seibon carbon fitment issues

Really, really, really disappointed in Seibon. Ordered this from vividracing.com. Great customer service on their part though trying to resolve my issues. This is the second hood they've sent me (the first had a nice dent and long ripple in it). Now this one fits like absolute ***** There is no way to "adjust" the fitment of the hood as the holes that the bolts go thru in the OEM brackets do not allow for any play. Even if I get a refund, I'm still out the $150 I originally paid for shipping.

Notice in this first pic you can see the rubber strip that runs along the top of the grill

Driver side gap (this is nice and tight like OEM):

Passenger side gap (hello rain in my engine):

Driver side near windshield where the hood is higher than the fender and stick up higher about a quarter of an inch (at least):

NIce fit over the driver headlight here. Can't see any rubber on top of headlight because the hood is covering it like it's supposed to:

uh-oh....not on this side though:

it really sucks I took the time to take everything off the old hood, just to find it it will be going right back on. One of the windshield sprayers didn't fit into the Seibon hood because the hole for it was too big, so it would not be able to squirt the fluid up but just at the very base of the windshield.

I tried that with the first hood. I first sent an email to Seibon, then to Vivid. I only ever heard back from Vivid.

it's a shame the whole thing can't be "shifted" toward the passenger side say 1/8"... if so it would look a lot better....

you can probably shift it over but you will need to re drill some points to make it work... just looks like the hood is off 1/4" to the right.....

Is it lighter than the stock hood?
