hey guys , got mine back last week after sharing this link with lexus dealers, my click is goooone. it was the loose nut around the hub that had to be torqued due to too much power and twisting ,so hope this is it for that problem .. seems like its same noise slighty different problems with each isf ???

I just ordered the nut(s)..
Clicking noise became apparent after my most recent alignment..
Part we needed is #2. I think install is (i) remove the wheel, (ii) unstake the old nut, (iii) unscrew it, (iv) install the new one at correct torque spec (214 ft-lb), (v) stake the new nut, (vi) reinstall wheel. Mine looks rusted as hell - I plan on having my local speed shop do it.

Im having the metal click sound coming from the axles and i found this thread, but i noticed that to fix the problem some replies said to remove the axle grease the splines and retighten/re-torque the axle nut, but other replies just said to replace/retighten/re-torque the axle nut and thats it. I would prefer not have to remove the axle, but if that whats needed, i guess ill do it.
I already bought the new nuts, Which one should i do?

I'm the next one in queue... just noticed clicking from left rear side, when accelerating and releasing gas pedal Car has only 68000 km, I'm surprised that thing like that is coming already.
I will ask my dealer to change the nut and let's see if this helps.

Happy to report that I changed out my axle nuts today and the click is gone from both sides. It took more time to clean the wheels while it was off than it took to replace and stake the new nuts.

I’m bumping an old thread but seeing some familiar faces so hoping y’all are still around. I found this thread while trying to track down a new noise I’m hearing. It’s intermittent, and I can’t reproduce it always, but it most often happens after a hard highway pull, almost immediately after I RELEASE the accelerator pedal. It never happens when braking. I *think* it ONLY happens when coasting (but my car is loud so it could be on accel too).
My wheel lugs are torqued to spec. The most recent work I’d done to the car before the noise was pads and rotors on the front. I feel like it’s coming from the right front wheel, but after reading others’ experiences here, I’m no longer sure. I do have some light pad/rotor contact when I spin the wheels by hand, but don’t think this is making that sound.
A friend mentioned it might be the dust shields vibrating? I’m at a loss and could use some help. Car has 150K on it.
