Sonax for me. It smells bad, but the results are amazing. And brake dust on our cars are awful. This thing cuts through in an instant.

Sonax Extreme is a brilliant wheel cleaner.

After your wheels are clean, seal them! This makes cleaning them much easier! I have sealed mine with C.Quartz, and most brake dust comes off with the pressure washer. Only car shampoo needed to clean the rest of extremely easily. Theres plenty of wheel waxes and sealants out there, even regular waxes and sealants are better than nothing.

I use Meguiars Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner. You can find it at most auto parts stores like AutoZone, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, Wal-Mart, etc. I used Sonax when I had some build up, but I wasn't all that impressed. I still had to scrub real hard and, to this day, still have some caked on brake dust in some of the crevices.

Yea, I got some of this stuff too because it had the coolest bottle at Autozone. Im not blown away, just like any wheel cleaner. I gave it a rub, rinse, then hand dry and theres still some stuff that wasn't coming off all the way.

I wish I had the '08 wheels when Im cleaning them! Mesh wheels are a pain to get every spoke.
