Default My 2012 IS-F Wheels has been Stolen

It is how I woke up on the Sunday Morning, I am feel so bad for that. Call the police and insurance company right away. $500 is what I have to pay, and the car just get tow on Monday afternoon because insurance company have to wait for Lexus Dealership to put the spare tire back to the car in order to tow it. Now I feel how important of the wheel locks, anyone has idea to stop those people to stole my wheel next time?

i assumed you had wheel locks. that being said wheel locks is one step in preventing your wheels from being stolen. they can still be easily removed. id suggest aftermarket wheel locks.

Yeah IS-Fs come with wheel locks. It also seems like you park with a lot of cars in around living complex, and to have them stolen there is much harder. I'm surprised no one saw it or heard anything.

Nooo! Sorry to see your car like that

Glad insurance is covering it for you, but I know how it feels to have thieves target your car like that, it sucks

I'm surprised too! But one of my buddies had his RSX wheels stolen right off the car in the busiest campus parking lot right in the middle of the day so it doesn't surprise me whoever stole OP's wheels got away with it either.

Damn, sorry to see that happened to you.

I would look around on local craigslist, ebay for the thief that might try to sell it.

Oh man... At least insurance will pay for the oem set, maybe you can get aftermarket wheels and keep the change? Hope everything works out for you. This reminds me of the gtr in the apartment parking lot,

I concur. I would totally be searching local ads for my rims if they were stolen. You might get lucky and catch the *** clown who took 'em!

I'm in shock looking at pictures like yours OP. Glad insurance is covering your wheels. If this happened where you live mb you should consider moving. Just my .02.

You can get a 2way alarm system installed on the car. Then you can addon a digital tilt sensor. That sensor will set the alarm off when someone either tries to jack it up or tow the car. If you get the 1mile 2way system your alarm remote will warn you when the alarm goes off up to 1mile so you can do something about it. Or you could get the phone version where your sent a txt msg when the alarm is set off at any distance where you have cell service.

Look on the bright side....For the cost of replacing the OEM wheels, you could get yourself a VERY nice set of aftermarket wheels.

suckkkkk! wheel locks are actually pretty usless, I worked for Discount Tire for 3.5yrs way back when & it doesnt take much to 'break' a lock off. People would loose their wheel lock keys all the time & we would have to get them off. OEM or aftermarket, if they want it they will take it. Well heres to a nice set of aftermarket wheels!
