Default po300 error code

I got a check engine light with the master alarm on so i pulled out my OBD2 scanner and the code that came up was a random misfire. I did a forum search but didnt come up with much besides it could be a plug or a coil. My obd2 scanner wont seem to let me erase the code. It says the erase was sucessful but 5 seconds later it just comes back. Should i try swapping out my plugs? I have 1 stage colder plugs for the nitrous setup i had (since removed). I used the thing a grand total of about 4 times so i really cant see much engine damage going on.. I have an appointment with lexus in two days but id really like to figure the problem out before i have to pay those guys..

Putting a new set of the correct heat range plugs in would be my starting point.
Was the nitrous set up a direct port?
If so how did you plug the ports? If there not plugged well you could have a vacuum leak.

Im gonna put the original plugs back in since they only have 20,000 miles on them. Then the problem is resetting the code..
The nitrous setup was a wet fogger in the intake so removing it was a breeze. I just installed the oem intake back on after...

After re-installing the OEM Spark Plugs....

Follow this simple ECU reset procedure, to clear the code :

Resetting the ECU on the IS-F

Good Luck,

Hmm.... It only takes seconds.... Not minutes...

Did it stutter on the first start up attempt?? If no, then you may have pulled the wrong fuse(s).
If yes, and it started on 2nd attempt, then the reset occured..

After reinstalling the OEM intake setup, did you clean the MAF sensor ??

Also, inspect ALL A/F Sensor & O2 Sensor wiring to make sure none are heat damaged..

Last by not least.. Check for exhaust leaks at the header locations & flanges..

It actually stalled twice on startup and then kicked on the third time so im sure the reset occurred..I do have PPE headers which im sure has something to do with it....
I did not clean the MAF sensor when i put back the original intake..How do you go about doing that?
I did disconnect the battery before touching the MAF it so i doubt its blown..
