wheels/tires fitment question
Hi everyone!
Has anyone tried fitting a 35 series tires on 20" wheels up front?
I just saw a thread with 30 series on the rear wheels (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-toms-kit.html), and I thought 25 series was the thickest you could go. So it got me thinking, can I fit 35 up front??
The motivation here is that 30 is just too skinny (for me) and I've just damaged all four of my forged wheels going through a construction zone in VA, so I'd like to get beefier tires once I get the wheels repaired, otherwise I might just step it down to 19".
Thanks!
Hans

I had 235/35 in the front and 265/30 in the rear. I was very reluctant to go with thinner sidewall also. The only problem is finding 235/35/20 tires. I had Michelin PS2 and they cost around $450 per tire, unfortunately. Good luck man.

I had that as well, until I hit the front edge of fresh pavement and bent all four wheels :-/ (forged wheels mind you). I'm trying to avoid having the same thing happen to me again.
